I have started working again to help us cover costs on the house we are building. It was supposed to be part-time but they are short of help and I ended up working 11 days in a row. Needless to say I was tired. I then had 3 days off so I made 2 bags (to be revealed later) and I finished all of these blocks. If you would like to see them all as well as what my wall looks like with all 100 on them, feel free to check out my Facebook page.

Take care and happy sewing!!

Blocks 31-36

Catch up time again! Have been busy running around and getting things done for a little boy to become a first grader! He was so excited this morning and was glad to join his friends on the bus- even though he didn't want his picture taken!

He was also happy to go see the librarian today because he had a gift for her!

He helped stuff them and we are working on the quilt to go with them. It is from the book Don't Let the Pigeon Ride the Bus by Mo Williams!

So anyways, here are last weeks blocks.....

Don't forget to link them up on the appropriate pages in order to be eligible to win some awesome prizes.

I also got caught up on my Lucky Stars from Don't Call Me Betsy

Here is July- Tula and Octopus inspired! Wish I had thought ahead and made the center different but it still works!

And August's- These are scraps from a Mama Said Sew quilt I made.

And the wonderful husband brought home some extra pieces of board insulation from work and I am working on covering them with batting in order to hang them up for a real wall instead of my wall covered with batting that is stapled to it....shhhhhh!

The best part was that I got to use my hot glue gun!! Sad I know.

Well I just took my machine in to get some TLC so off to cleaning the house I go....maybe!

Adios and vaya con Dios!!
